When an author is releasing a lot of books, or a series, it’s important to create a look that is branded and recognisable to followers and readers. Although there are always more tweaks to be done, I think we’re getting this right with Katherine Gordy Levine and her two prolific topics, parenting and emotional fitness.
Katherine’s two blogs, Parents Are People Too and Emotional Fitness Training™ have jst had a make-over that gives them a consistent branded look, that matches her book cover designs. Next week I’ll be moving on to tweaking her social media profiles to match perfectly as well.
The strong overall look has been achieved by using three main colors, and white, consistently. The logos for the two topics are almost the same. The eBook cover designs share some of the same elements. Even the social media icons on the blogs have been specifically made to fit the theme.
A new client asked me earlier in the week, what can MetaPlume offer that traditional publishing houses don’t? I said, personal service. I should have added, attention to detail.
